The Centre is owned by Watchet Town Council and managed and maintained by the Watchet Community Centre Management Committee.
The Centre is available to hire for one-off events such as parties and meetings, and is also available for regular bookings. The Centre benefits from facilities such as
- Onsite parking and accessible entrance
- Large main hall – one of the largest in Watchet!
- Tables and chairs to seat 50
- A well stocked kitchenette with urn & kettle, mugs, cups & glasses, crockery & cutlery, and a fridge (no cooking provision)
- Ladies, gents and disabled toilet facilities, baby changing facilities
One-off events are required to pay a refundable security deposit of £50.00.
The Centre also has a large range of Soft Play equipment suitable from newborn – 5 year olds. This can be hired as part of your booking for a small additional fee of £5.00.
Youth Provision
Watchet Town Council outsource a youth provision service through Minehead Eye for the residents of Watchet and surrounding area. There are currently two Youth club sessions held at the Watchet Community Centre every Tuesday and Wednesday evening, 6.00pm to 8.00pm (during term time) for young people from Year 5 (10yrs) through to 19yrs
