


The Centre is owned by Watchet Town Council and managed and maintained by the Watchet Community Centre Management Committee.
The Centre is available to hire for one-off events such as parties and meetings, and is also available for regular bookings. The Centre benefits from facilities such as
- Onsite parking and accessible entrance
- Large main hall – one of the largest in Watchet!
- Tables and chairs to seat 50
- A well stocked kitchenette with urn & kettle, mugs, cups & glasses, crockery & cutlery, and a fridge (no cooking provision)
- Ladies, gents and disabled toilet facilities, baby changing facilities
One-off events are required to pay a refundable security deposit of £50.00.
The Centre also has a large range of Soft Play equipment suitable from newborn – 5 year olds. This can be hired as part of your booking for a small additional fee of £5.00.
Youth Provision
Watchet Town Council outsource a youth provision service through Minehead Eye for the residents of Watchet and surrounding area. There are currently two Youth club sessions held at the Watchet Community Centre, as follows:
- Junior Session (10 – 13yr old) every Wednesday evening, 6.00pm to 8.00pm (during term time)
- Teens session (13 – 19yr old) every Thursday, 6.00pm to 8.00pm (during term time)
