
Harbour Road Public Conveniences are free of charge and open daily from 8am – 8pm.
Watchet Town Council owns the Public Conveniences and they are managed by Full Council.
The Harbour Road Car Park Public Convenience were due to be closed by Somerset West & Taunton Council in March 2017, along with many others in the district. Watchet Town Council agreed to take over the responsibility of operations on 1 April 2017.
Its central location in town is easily accessible from the Harbour Road and Swain Street Car Parks, West Somerset Railway Station, the coach and bus stops, and is a on a main pedestrian thoroughfare. The Council has undertaken refurbishment works on the conveniences and has reinstated the disabled facility.
To help Watchet achieve its opens in a new windowPlastic Free Community status, Watchet Town Council have fitted a free water refill station at the rear of the Harbour Road toilet facility.
