Harbour Road Public Conveniences are free of charge and open daily from 8am – 8pm.
Watchet Town Council owns the Public Conveniences and they are managed by Full Council.
The Harbour Road Car Park Public Convenience were due to be closed by Somerset West & Taunton Council in March 2017, along with many others in the district. Watchet Town Council agreed to take over the responsibility of operations on 1 April 2017.
Its central location in town is easily accessible from the Harbour Road and Swain Street Car Parks, West Somerset Railway Station, the coach and bus stops, and is a on a main pedestrian thoroughfare. The Council has undertaken refurbishment works on the conveniences and has reinstated the disabled facility.
To help Watchet achieve its Plastic Free Community status, Watchet Town Council have fitted a free water refill station at the rear of the Harbour Road toilet facility.
