Watchet Town Council Office
The Watchet Town Council Office will re-open to the public on Monday 12 April 2021 and will resume usual opening hours of Monday to Thursday 10-12.30pm. Attendance to the Council office located at the Watchet Visitor Centre, Harbour Road will be by appointment only and the actions outlined in the attached notice have to be adhered to. Watchet Town Council look forward to welcoming their residents onto their premises and resuming day to day operations.
Watchet Community Centre approved roadmap for re-opening
All users will be provided with:
- The most recent WCC Risk Assessment (Rev 5)
- Covid precaution agreement
- Covid cleaning sheet
- Cleaning/sanitising wipes and floor cleaner/mop/bucket provided at the centre for users to conduct the above cleaning sheet.
All users must provide:
- Their own Risk Assessment for the conduct of their specific class
- Signed copy of the precaution agreement (signed by organiser and all attendees of class/event)
- Weekly completed cleaning sheet (to be completed and signed at the beginning/end of each session, and copy emailed to Committee Clerk weekly)
Watchet Community Centre Management Committee agree the following can take place from 17th May 2021
- Booking available for regular groups, with a maximum of 25 attendees
- Booking available for exercise classes/groups, limited to a maximum of 9 attendees (including instructor) plus non-participating observers where permitted*
- All capacities and layouts are to be based on the most up to date WCC Risk Assessment (rev 5) which meet the guidelines that venues must operate at no more than 50% of normal capacities.
- No access to kitchen or storeroom equipment.
- Professional cleaning services 3 hours per week
Watchet Community Centre Management Committee agree the following can take place from 21st June 2021
- All COVID-secure measurements must remain in place
- Increased capacity considered on individual basis. Delegation given to Committee Clerk, Committee Chair, and EH&S designated officer to approve increased capacity requests
- Consider access to store-room equipment and use of the WCC kitchen, with strict cleaning requirements in place.
- Professional cleaning services provided increased to 4.5 hours per week to include cleaning of kitchen facilities.
