Works will be commencing next week (W/C 5/7) to improve the layout on the ground to make it safer for shared pedestrian and cycle use. There may be minor delays to the public while this work is taking place. The updated closure will still prohibit all motor vehicles but will now allow pedestrians and cyclists to use Cleeve Hill safely.

The works next week will include:

1. Vegetation cut back

2. Drain clearing

3. Additional blocks to create a chicane at either end

4. Amended signage

5. ‘Slow’ markings (for cyclists) on downhill section
