Temporary Road Closures – A39 Williton to Cannington – Week Commencing 18th September 2023
Thank you for your support and patience during the major carriageway surface dressing programme that we carried out last month. Now that the dressing has had time to stabilise and has been swept for loose chippings, the road markings and studs will need to be reinstated. This is to be done under the cover of a series of night-time temporary road closures this week (week commencing 18th September 2023). The temporary road closures will be in operation between 20:00 each evening and 06:00 the following morning.
The programme of works is:-
- 20:00 Tuesday 19th September to 06:00 Wednesday 20th September – A39 Williton to Holford
- 20:00 Wednesday 20th September to 06:00 Thursday 21st September – A39 Williton to Holford
- 20:00 Thursday 21st September to 06:00 Friday 22nd September – A39 Nether Stowey to Cannington

Please note that the application of road markings is a very weather susceptible operation and progress against the programme will be very much related to the amount and timing of any rain.
